Grady & Brandy | the wedding sessions

So this was the most bunny-riffic wedding of all time. Wow! Not only do they like Dom Perignon they love bunnies. The story goes, they picked up a bunny at a Cracker Barrel on a trip one time and well, you know how bunnies are, they just keep multiplying. Their friends and family made me feel like part of the clan and I just loved all Brandy's creative ideas. The theme of the Thursday backyard wedding WAS improv... and on Saturday, it was mix and mingle with all sorts of friends and relatives adding to the mix. It was also Bill and Judy's 50th anniversary (Grady's parents). The "kids" gave the couple a cruise to Alaska, which was a surprise. You might remember this couple from their engagement session which is just a couple posts back... I just simply can't say enough great things about them. Oh and kudos for choosing Tiffany Blue and brown as your colors... matches well with my own, eh? Side Note: It's sometimes hard to pronounce Grady and Brandy, much less write it. Just try it yourself. So the poor folks at the M&M printing center messed up just a bit, but hey, Grady and Brandy rolled with it, which is why they are so great. Hollye Schumacher came on Saturday with me to shoot this event and I have to tell you, Hollye was one of the hardest working second shooters EVER!! HUSTLE was her middle name. Sudeck-Krum Wedding

Ah to have a wedding with perfect light. Every photographer's dream... which came true on March 3, 2007. Jacqui and Mark had a rather perfect event if I do say so myself. Jacqui waltzed down the aisle with the poise and presence of a greek goddess, her Chanel ensamble (hello jealousy) catching a bit of the breeze. Her lovely bridesmaids donned a chic flirty dress and watched as their best friend made a promise to an outstanding man. It was a joy to capture Jacqui's bubbly personality and Mark's secret smiling moments. Both bride and groom were glowing during the ceremony and exchanged vows they wrote themselves. As always, I had to hold back the tears while shooting and preparing these images for the slideshow. That's a sure sign that of a job well done. I finally snuck a taste of the legendary Mark-a-rita shortly before packing up. I have to report it was bold yet sweet, just like the two of you. I do love a wedding with a signature drink. My husband, Matt Clark, was the second shooter (he shot the white shoes in the grass AND the dancing image featured here--nice work, honey).

Jessica and Jason

Jessica and Jason were married at the Caleo Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona. Jessica had so many fabulous details. I loved her 'family tree' --see below...

Erica and Justin

Loved this couple from NYC! They were so very in love and both bride and groom had fun during their event, which can be challenging when you are the center of attention. It was a destination wedding for most of the guests and everyone had a blast. This crowd knew how to party.
