Donna Shoemaker, my fabulous up-and-coming assistant, took a new photo of me today since I need to update the ones on my website. Donna also did my makup. For laughs, I am also posting the 'before' head shot without make-up. Now don't run to the make-up counter yet.... The 80's style blinds in the back ground definitley detract from the second photo and the lighting was strobe v. natural, so it wasn't the most controlled scientific experiment, but alas, you get the point. Don't under estimate the importance of good natural light and a great make-up artist (great photographers also help).
